- Situation details entered into the document generator
- Survey responses
Information collected automatically:
- Page views and feature usage (via Supabase analytics)
- Browser type, screen size, and referring URL
- Session identifiers (randomly generated, not tied to personal identity)
2. How We Use Your Information
- To generate and deliver your compliance documents
- To send the Safety Brief newsletter (if you opt in)
- To improve CiteClear's document generation quality
- To understand which features and document types are most valuable
- To communicate product updates and launch information
3. What We Do NOT Do
- We do not sell your personal information
- We do not use your data for AI model training
- We do not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do not store generated document content — documents are generated in Claude AI and are not retained by CiteClear
4. Third-Party Services
CiteClear uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Database and analytics hosting
- Stripe: Payment processing for pre-orders
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Document generation — your inputs are processed by Claude AI subject to Anthropic's usage policies
- Beehiiv: Newsletter delivery
- Google Fonts: Typography (subject to Google's privacy policy)
5. Data Retention
We retain your email and submission data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted database connections and access controls.
